Peter's Cooking Tips and Tricks

Wooden Spoons: I prefer to use wooden spoons and spatulas for most cooking purposes. These tend not to damage the inner surfaces of the pots and pans, and they seem to clean up well enough in the dishwasher.

Be careful not to leave the utensil in the food while it is cooking, however, since it will tend to taste the food. I also like to use a wooden fork for making scrambled eggs

Who's been enjoying
Peter's classes?

Hi Peter,

The package of Manchef cooking lessons that my daughters gave me during my very first year alone in the kitchen exceeded all expectations.  The camaraderie enjoyed at, and the knowledge gained from your lessons has been super.  Now I enjoy making what I eat, particularly fish and soups.  Also, I no longer have the former fear of preparing a meal after your sessions of cooking a meal and then eating the results.  You have given me the confidence to expand and make healthy new things and to cook the girls old favourites from Barbara's recipes successfully.

Your salad dressing, while easy to make, beats anything I have had from a store.  The girls love what I cook for them as do the grandkids, so Manchef has been a big win all around.

Best Regards,
Charlie
